Seriously?

Lets talk gas prices. Seriously, WTF? About 3 years ago, we all may remember when gas prices were shooting up around this time of year. It actually was about $5 in some areas. At that time, Nick and I lived in Raleigh, NC and he had a truck. I drove my little 96 Toyota Corolla that I had had since HS and it was a gem at saving us money on gas. So Nick and I thought it'd be a brainy idea to trade in his truck, and get ME a new Corolla (LOVE rollin' in my CoROLLa. haha, get it?! *crickets*). So we saved money in the long run with 2 economy vehicles instead of just 1 and a gas guzzler. Fast forward to today. I paid $50.02 on filling up my tank. I paid $4.27 A GALLON!. WHAT. THE. EFF?! We have 2 economy cars so we didn't have to pay such prices. Some say its gonna be $5 by Summer. Translation - Karli will not be leaving the house EVER unless she can walk to her destination. PERIOD. Am I the only whiney baby about these prices?
PS - I found this pic when I was googling gas prices. I would take that price per gallon ASAP por favor

I was just thinking of writing a post on the same thing! It's crazy how much gas has gone up just since B was born. Crazy!

I'm so with you! I texted my husband today after I filled up. And, we're taking a road trip this weekend - that will be expensive! I think I paid $4.20/gallon today. YIKES!

You are not the only one whining about it. I probably wouldn't even be half as upset if gas companies weren't posting record profits!!

It's awful! I always want to get a bigger car but I still drive the Corolla because of gas, even though we look like a clown car when we get out of it with twin babies and my tall hubby!

um yeah it's just crazy. I have an SUV and I actually use my husband's gas card so I have NO idea how much gas is, but I know it's a lot, because my husband always gets the bill and is like, "holy hell! Did you drive to NYC and back this week?

It's insane. Insanely stupid. You guys are the smart ones :) However I would have an economy car too if I didn't have two little chillins.
