ITS ALMOST HERE!

Merry Christmas in advance lovely readers! I am going to be signing off for a day or two depending on how crazy things get with Christmas and Denver coming up. My MIL sent me a picture of the swing set they have in their backyard for Troy

YOWZA!

I'm really hoping and praying just no snow on game day (Jan 1) and we will be able to fly out and in. I normally wouldn't mind, but I really don't want to have to entertain a 11 month old in an airport for any longer than I have to. Plus, I want to see these big anacondas without a long under armor shirt over them

Why yes, those would be my stalker/paparazzi pictures from a game last year with Tim Tebow has my prey haha! Every time we go to a game, I'm always determined to get a players attention and it has happened at all of them (except last year with my big ol preggo belly - discrimination I tell you!). My first game I ever went to was a Oakland Raiders game (back when I was on the dark side and liked them) and I got Randy Moss to look at me and smile! So, even if its a blizzard, I will get SOMEONES attention - preferably Tim Tebows, but lets be real, EVERYONE tries to get his attention I'm sure. I just simply want a high five or a "Hey Karli! You made it, good to see you"

Hope you all have an amazingly great Christmas and New Years Eve

Glitz Blog Swap!

I had the pleasure of being partnered up with Cathy from Admire the Clouds. SO glad we were paired cause I hadn't' discovered her blog before and once we were linked and I explored around, I love her!

So check out my Glitzy swag I got from Miss Cathy who resides in a country above us - OH Canada!

I feel like a total cheap ass cause in no way did I make her packaging THIS cute! Sorry Cathy, hopefully the goodies make up for it :)
Girl hooked me up with a beautiful gold/black/diamondy necklace (LOVE! Already worn twice), some glittery Sally Hansen polish (already wearing it!), a glittery pen,and a smoky eye palette. Plan to play around with this on Saturday night when the man of the house is away hunting and I've had a glass or two of wine.

I made out so well, thanks Raven and Lindsay for hooking Cathy and I up with each other. Really hoping she gets my package soon. Can't wait to hear how she likes her loot!

I Wish you a Merry Christmas

Yeah, so it's that time. That time to start thinking about Christmas girls! If your like me, you've been thinking about Christmas 2011 since, oh.....December 26, 2010! I am always so sad to see the Christmas decor come down, the tree come down, the apple cider leave the shelves at the store....WAH!

This year Shutterfly is doing it again. Im sure many of you bloggers remember last year that Shutterfly was giving away a promotion for free, yes FREE, Christmas cards. Well, this year is no different. I know you all are familiar with Shutterfly. A lot of people have used them for calendar gifts (great gifts for out of town in laws to see their grandkiddos), or even just picture type gifts that are GREAT to use for meaningful gifts for your mom or even hubbinator. Another bonus? Their so easy to use! So that in law thats so hard to shop for? Or how about your great aunt you RARELY see, but want to send a gift of your cute little babe? Go to Shutterfly and hook them up!

I have already scheduled a professional photographer for this years pictures (damn you pumpkin cookies looking so tasty right now!) for 1st week of December. So whatever beautiful pics she shoots, will be going on these cards. Last year Nick and I had a Christmas card similar to this:

Pretty clean and straight to the point, right? That's what I loved about Shutterflys selections - there is something for everyone. I obviously love the more festive in your face designs, but I guess since Im not the only one on the card, I gotta listen to everyones opinions ha!

This year, I'd really like to go for something like this:

or even this:

We'll see what Nick says and I guess it also depends on how the style of the pictures are too. Gotta make it all matchy match.

So are you a blogger? Want a chance at 25 free cards this holiday season? Register here: http://goo.gl/DDw7Q . Like NOW. Go do it!!!

Christmas 2010 in pictures

Whew! I have been so productive today! I've boxed up all the Christmas decorations and got the normal decor back out and out of Troy's closet, made the hubbs a doctor appointment (ahhh, the duties of a loving wife), done 2 loads of laundry - Id say Im ready to teach a class on how to be domesticated...kidding...sorta. I love that today is a paid day off - I have 2 returns to make, an oil change, and then headed to my parents for a little visit with my madre.
Belly update is about the same. I am just now getting that feeling of "okay Troy, you can come out". Sitting on the ground is such a challenge with this belly and then try getting up and then getting in and out of the car. I'll miss him being inside my belly and being the only one to hold him (which I believe I will still have every right if I chose that route), but mama needs her body back.
As promised, here are some pics of my Christmas 2010 aka the last Christmas without kids <----- actually pretty excited about this! Kids are so fun to watch on Christmas.

Merry Christmas 2010

Merry Christmas beautifuls! The day I have thought about all year is here, and the morning was fabulous! I won't stay to chat for long, but I will say I am so thankful and blessed for the family I have. We started the morning off right (and at the early time of 6:30AM) with some cheesy crock pot hash browns, and whole wheat bagels with honey nut cream cheese (<---uuuh-mazing and sadly will not be allowed on my "Operation get Karli's body back" mission) thanks to my lovely seeeeester. During our package opening intermission, I did the easy stuff and popped in some cinnamon rolls into the oven. Pictures to come probably tomorrow or Monday. I got so many clothes and workout clothes and a sweet new pair of Asics! Not to mention the tightest little ride for Mister Troy Maxims - a jogging stroller for me to push the little prince around in while I break in the new Asics. SO excited! Have a wonderful Christmas ladies and I'll talk to you soon!!

27 days!

That's right ladies and gents - twenty 27 days till the most joyous day of the year - CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

Break out the hot coco and hot apple cider and start the decorating folks! Here is my decorating job at the California Dreamin casa. I'm actually contemplating getting a little something else for next to the fire place (other than Ms. Daisy Mae)

Our first fire of the year
It was a success!!!
Of course that's the Christmas music channel the TV is on
Got those 2 sparkly tree's from Pier 1 - Nick's lucky that's all I walked outta there with

Like I said - 27 days!! Nick better hurry up and get to shopping, I've been a very good girl this year
I want to start a tradition once Troy (and our other babies) are old enough and every year take them to add a house onto my small Christmas Village
Funny enough, December 3rd is a Friday this year
Of course the number 1 Fur-baby, Ms. Daisy Mae!!

Geez, I need to empty that trash, hmmmm...
This morning has been so cozy with it being rainy and cold outside and a nice warm fire inside. The hubb and I even put up our last and final decal in Troy's nursery. All we are waiting for is my shower next weekend to put the last of the stuff up, and then it'll be time for final touches that I'll make (random decor on top of shelves and such). Have a wonderful and lazy Saturday beautiful's!
