Pay Attention New Followers

I was recently tagged by Breanna at Adventures in Mommy land to do a little question ire. And WHO doesn't like talking about themselves? Srrrsly. And since I have caught this plague that's been going around my circle of friends, I need something that's a no brainer. Plus, I thought since I've had a few new followers lately, this would be a good get to know you sorta thing.

1. What kinds of things do you do every single day, without fail?
A couple things: I shower. I am a grumpy fart if I don't get my shower every day - true story. 2. I eat breakfast - gotta fire up that metabolism. 3. Say bedtime prayers with TMoney

2. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Oh gosh, the list is endless: An actress, a singer, a vet, a dentist, actress, a singer, famous, actress...Seriously wanted to be an actress super bad. Had dreams of making it big on SNL

3. Aside from immediate family, who would you like to be stranded on a desert island with?
OOO this is tough, but I'm gonna have to take one for the team and either say Jason Statham or Christian Bale. Both seem like they could be handy

4. Who would play you in a movie?
Either Kate Hudson or Reese Witherspoon

5. What are your top 3 favourite television shows?
So hard to pick just 3 of my trashtastic shows. Most def Real Housewives (OC and New Jersey), Alcatraz and Teen Mom (classy, right?)

6. What is your most favorite meal?
Anything carb/cheesy and hot. Stuff I honestly rarely have. Gotta keep my bod in check ;)

7. Do you have an annoying/bad habit?
Probably itching my throat. Drives Nick and my other family nuts. It sounds like a pig snorting, you know what I mean? Am I the only one who does this?

8. What 3 destinations do you dream of visiting one day?
So many: London (Again), but I want to go all over England. Would like to go to Paris to see what the hype is about, and Greece

9. What is the number one thing you need when you are sick {minus meds}?
Naps, a comfy place to crash with lotsa fluffy blankets and my DVR'd shows

10. What do you need to do more of?
Same thing most Americans need.. more money would be nice. But like my good friend Biggy Smalls used to say - Mo Money, Mo Problems...word

11. What would you do if you won the lottery?
Assuming it was the total jackpot of all lotteries and not just a measly 10 bucks? Pay off our house, finish the basement and spare no expense, remodel some other rooms of the house, buy Nick a truck, pay off our credit card, pay off my parents house (if it isn't already), buy my sister a nice big house, stash some money away for Troy's college fund, invest and then take the whole fam on a vacation :)

Paying it Forward

Happy Sunday beautiful! I know everyone is grumbling cause Sunday means Monday is tomorrow.

Monday = WORK = No bueno!

My poison oak is still flaring its ugly head. I'm going to call the doctor tomorrow and beg and offer my 2nd born (she can't have my 1st, I love him too much) to her if she can squeeze me in. My stomach is gnarly people. So ewwwwy, I'll spare you details, but basically I'm pretty sure it's infected. I'm so sick of this shiz. Which sucks cause I wanna run and work out. I haven't gone to the gym in forever. Sure I run 3-4 times a week, but I want squat some iron!
Ew.

So I'm signing up for the gym once this PO is gone. Getting back to lifting, more running, switching up cardio workouts. Ya know, the stuff I actually consider fun. My muscles are in need of some serious fine tuning and Im determined to be walking around with a banging body and my 1.5 year old come next Summer.

On Saturday T Pain and I headed out for our grocery shopping early. On my way back, I was starved, so through the Starbucks drive thru I went for one of these babies

The Starbucks Egg white, reduced fat turkey bacon sandwich - hold the cheese. So anywhoot, I was behind this new Hyundai and next in line. Once I got up to the window, the cashier told me the woman in front of me already paid for me. Say what?! I was blown away girls. I mean, who does that? Not anyone in this neck of the woods. I was so appreciate and immediately wanted to pay it forward. So I asked the cashier how much the person behind me's order was. "$7.49", she responded. PSSSSSH.....did I REALLY wanna blow the rest of my gift card on this stranger? YES, YES I did, nothing felt better.

Whine Whine Whine...

Big Brother, oh how you entertain me. Who's watching it? Are you guys yelling at stupid Rachel as much as I am? Seriously guys, Im losing it with this broad. She annoyed me last season, and this season is no different. Her face annoys me. She doesn't even have to speak, just being on the screen is enough. Harsh? I call it honest.

So lemme feel ya peeps in - Rachel is a bitch. Plain and simple. She talks behind peoples backs, she WHINES like no other. Im talking the kind of whine you only do when your imitating someone and exaggerating their ridiculousness. Like a 15 year old girl who's daddy cut up her credit cards kind of whine. Anywhoot - last season...
Yup, she is full of herself and ridiculous.

So anyways, last nights episode, Rachel once again is rude to a girl (because she is prettier than her in my opinion). I can't find a clip of it, but oh my LORD. Basically, another player, Cassie (the pretty one), confronts Rachel about being a backstabbing brat and Rachel plays dumb and says "its all strategy" and she doesn't have a personal vendetta against Cassie. FALSE. Rachel talks major crap about Cassie and says personal insults against her. So after Cassie doesn't back down and doesn't let Rachel play the "game play" card, Rachel storms out of the room, goes up to the HOH (Head of Household) room where Jordan (cute as a friggin button!) is and starts whining and crying how mean Cassie is and how Cassie hit her at all of her weaknesses. Boo-friggin- hoooooo Rachel.

K, rant done. Back to packing up my apartment :)

HOLLA

Whats up dolls? I hope you had a great Mothers Day whether your a mama or mama to be or just wanted an excuse to eat yummy foods and drink delicious drinks. I, did both. Dinners at my parents house never disappoints.

So I am pretty much going like a hamster on a wheel these next couple of days, Mexico is in 3 days! Today I had to make the runs to get all kinds of medicine in case Troy gets sick in Mexico, and I had to get enough formula and diapers to last us in Mexico and I had to get enough grub to last us till we leave. For the next 3 days, I plan on hitting my old trail (4.5ish miles), for a run/walk with T Money, I'm getting my heeer done by my magician on Wednesday (these roots are baaaaad), and tomorrow my sister and I are takin the kids to get their pics taken. Lets just say COFFEE COFFEE COFFEE. Srrrrsly you guys, its all I was running on today. Thank God it was there, cause the little dude was throwing me through the ringer today. Think major poop blowout in Target, and MAYJA' meltdown in the checkout. It was my 1st ever REAL meltdown. Nick and I call the meltdown cry "the yodel" cause that's what happens when the child gets enough volume. I had people giving me the "God, sucks to be her" look. I gave them the "Wanna take this outside?" look right back. What can I say, I get defensive when I get judgy looks, but I swear I'm sweet as pie normally. Oh, and he didn't want to take naps and I spilled formula all over myself while we were out. Bah! Ready for Tuesday please.
Enough of the bitchin', and onto some good stuff. The FABULOUS Raven is hosting a little snazzy giveaway of her loot. Trust me, it's good loot. So head over to her blog, give her some love, and get in on this giveaway.
Oh and if ya'll remember this post - look what made it's way into my fridge!

Hump Day Randoms

Wud up ladies? So yeaaaaa last night was eventful. Nothing super crazy, but most def the most eventful in Contractionland (real place, I swear. Google it). My stomach had been off and on tight all day. I met my mama for some ice cream and a little walk around some shops, and the tightness didn't really seem to bug me. More annoying than anything else. Then at around 7:30ish, I started getting some bad sharp pains in my pelvic region and my stomach was getting super tight. I thought for sure something was going on. I'm sure some dilation or effacing was going down, but I'm not brave enough (or drunk enough) to check myself like I've heard some other women do. Once Nick got home, they disappeared, because Nick is awesome like that and makes it all better, and we ate dinner. In the middle of dinner - MORE sharp pains. Cleaning up after dinner is when the actual contractions started. It felt like they were going for a minute and 30 seconds before letting up (Im lame and wasn't timing them at that moment), and I had to lean on the kitchen counter for a second or two. This happened the rest of the night, but once I was lounging on the couch, they weren't as strong. Oh but wait, there's more! I got queasy - another fabulous pregnancy side effect I've been so lucky to feel for the past few days. To save you all from a drawn out story, I went to bed shortly after all of this still feeling queasy and my stomach hurting. I couldn't get comfortable in the slightest and I was peeing every.hour. I pee probably 3 times a night on average, but this....oh no, this was something different. I swear I didn't drink that much water and Im convinced that my little man has a super soaker stored up there and shoots it off just to see how many times mommy will get up to go to the bathroom.

Can we discuss The Bachelor for a moment? What the HECK is up with "He's mine and just doesn't know it yet" Michelle?

This chick is seriously off her rocker and when she kept crashing everyone's date and standing in bushes to eve's drop, I was about to lose it. I mean, I think we've all learned from Snooki, that unless your just kickin it, or pee'ing, you shouldn't be in bushes

Oh and let's discuss little Ms. Emily. I LOVE the girls comparison to her and Mother Teresa. I for sure thought I wouldn't like her because she's sooooo unbelievably gorgeous (women - we are such haters haha), but she is SO nice and sweet like Mother Teresa, you can't hate her. Plus she's blonde, and I just cannot hate a fellow blondie. But seeersly, I want to die and come back looking like her.

I heard from a fellow co-worker that she heard that Emily is a finalist? When she told the other girls her story about what happened to her fiance, I about lost it. Since becoming pregnant, I swear my paranoia of something happening to Nick has shot through the roof! I don't know what it is, but I will come up with crazy stories that he isn't okay if he is late coming home from work (Hello Karli, I-5 during rush hour is no joke, take a chill pill!), or if he is running errands without me and he's gone for a longer time than I think he should be (which never happens, the man HATES shopping). Anyways, when I heard Emily's story, I bawled like a baby.

'Nother random bit - Nick and I watched 'Grown Ups' the other night and it was pretty funny. I'd recommend it if you like Adam Sandler movies. It's a light hearted feel good movie. Some of the scenes I yelled "OH MY GAAAWD!". For those of you who have seen it (and w/out giving too much away), I think you know what I'm talking about - hint hint: breastfeeding.

Today, I've worked a bit from home with the travel arrangements and also went and met Bestie Jenni (dropping the Bon Bon when referring to her), for some make up retail therapy at Ulta and some lunch. I got an eyelash curler because my eyelashes didn't get the memo that you aren't supposed to grow straight out, some NYX eyeshadow in Aloha shade,

and this bad boy - concealer.

I was in the market for a new concealer because this blogger needs an even skin tone ASAP. Since I can't just go get a bajilion microderm abrasion sessions, I needed somethin to cover it up and make my skin look more even. Jenni recommended I try her concealer that she loves by Exuviance CoverBlend Concealer.

Let's hope it does the trick. I have red marks for old acne all around my jaw area, blah! After Troy is born, I need to switch to a different face wash too. I am only 24, but I know I need to start thinking about a good cleanser, or at least a gentler one. Any recommendations girlies? Since being pregnant, I've broken out, cleared up, broken out again, so I'm looking for something that's gentle, but also keeps my skin looking even and tight.
