So it's Friday. Its time to talk about our favorite topic, some celebs!

It's official - Maria Shriver has filed for divorce. SHOCKER! I mean is this REALLY shocking to anyone? It's all over the headlines that she just filed the divorce papers and people are acting shocked by it. Didn't we see this coming? It's not like they were still together.

Oh and total side note, does Auh-nolds love child not look like a mini version of him back in the day? Seriously sorta creepy.

Can you imagine your housekeeper brings her kid to work with her and every time he runs by you, you think "God, that looks an awful like my husband...hmmm....."

Shia Labeouf has come out as saying he hooked up with his co-star Megan "I have toes for thumbs" Fox. His explanation is when your working that close with someone for 6 months, things happen. His new costar Rosie Huntington-Whiteley obviously didn't have that problem. She has THIS hunk of man meat to keep her warm at night #1.

And also, have you girls seen Shia? Sorry for those with Shia Fever, but I remember him from my Disney channel fav "Even Stevens" and I still think he is just as obnoxious as he was back then.

Okay lovelies, now I will probably lose a follower or two, but here me out: Pippa Middleton. Okay, the girl is CUTE. CUTE/pretty at best. Is she DROP DEAD GORGEOUS in my opinion? No. She is this tiny little petite thing. Which I classify as "Cute". This is all my opinion of course, but seriously, I am so over headlines talking about how "stunning" Pippa is. I just don't get it. She is a pretty girl, but when she wears jeans and a cute blouse, headlines go crazy about how amazing she always looks. Sure she always looks put together (who wouldn't if your sister just married the future King and your a paparazzi target?)

Okay girls, WTF is up with Kristen Cavallari? She just put out an interview complaining it was hard after she gained weight on The Hills. I mean, seriously Kristen - SHUT the frick up! You gained weight when you were on The Hills? Really, you looked fat in your bikini? I must have missed these pictures where she looked fat.

Celeb Mumbo Jumbo

Well didn't I pick the wrong time to be pregnant. Ellen (my new BFF), dedicated her whole entire show to preggo's and gave away a RIDICULOUS amount of gifts. Ummm, I'm jealous. So very very jealous. My parents took really good care of us in this department, so I can't gripe about it too much :) Gifts ranged from a $300 Old Navy gift card, peg perego high chair, crib, crib bedding, baby food, and even washer and dryers!!!! Ummm, yes, I said washer and dryers to wash all those baby poo filled clothes. Can they pay my water bill too?

Jesse James recently went on Howard Stern and confessed that Kat Von D is 100% better in bed than Sandra. How friggin dare you, Jesse! You should have your tongue cut out of your mouth for speaking like that of lovely Sandra. I bet Sandra is a saucy little Mynx in the bedroom, and just cause she won't put on a little mustache and give you a Nazi salute, doesn't really make her a dud now does it? Can you tell I'm bitter/defensive of Sandra?

Busy bee

Holy moly life has been busy for me. Mostly work has been busy so from the time I get into the office to the time I leave, I have zero time to blog and by the time I leave I hit the gym, make dinner, eat, visit, and we go to bed. Updates on moi - eating has been a challenge. I want to eat SO much more than I do, but I am unable to do so due to a certain little someone in my belly taking up all the space. At the moment my stomach is SOOOO uncomfortably tight and I last ate at 1:30 (it's 3pm now) and all I had was a small-medium size salad w/1 cup of apple slices and water. I want to eat so bad, but can't. Oh and with the little man doing his own yoga class in there, every time he stretches, my ribs and my sternum get a nice rub. By nice I mean SORE. I know, I know, he's only gonna get bigger, right?
Another random update - what the HECK is up with all these celebrities!? People are either breaking up, getting engaged, or getting pregnant. Don't believe me? Lets run down the list shall we?

Prince William and (soon to be Princess) Kate Middleton <---- I had the biggest crush on him. Until he started to bald and started to resemble his father more and more. He seems like he has Diana's personality though, so Kate's one lucky lady. I'm still unsure how I feel about her wearing his dead mother's engagement ring to the guy who had an affair (I don't care if there is proof or not, he did!), and died tragically. However, your speech with how it's your way to keep your mom apart of the excitement I understood and respect, so carry on!

Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson - ENGAGED <---- I give 2 years tops. I'm sorry, but it was just WAY to fishy for your ex to pop the question to the girl he's been with for years, and then the guy your with for 5 months to pop the question to you? To eat or not to eat - that has never been my question

Lately I am hungry every hour. I don't want just a snack here and there, I want a MEAL every 2 hours!

One of the other stars, Kristin Bauer (who plays naughty vampire, Pam) has recently come out as saying that as long as she's in front of a camera, she will always be hungry.

She was interviewed by Movieline and said:
"The other day I realized as long as I'm in this business, I'm going to be hungry," says Bauer, 36. "The camera really does add 10 pounds. I'm trying to stay under the weight I want to look like on TV. It's a good incentive to stay slim and is probably adding years to my life... I'm vegetarian, so I live on carbs, but it's always an effort. After any wardrobe fitting, I hit the gym three times more than the week before."

Thoughts? I love food way too much to give up food, but maybe if I could star next to this sexy vamp, I just might step away from Ben and Jerry's....??

Here and there

So in true Karli fasion, I'm gonna be random with this post with a few things that I have been following. Current events if you will -

What do we think of this Mo fo? In my opinion - he DID kill Natalie Holloway and I hope her mother feels that justice has been served to him. We now know he killed that poor young Peruvian woman too and what was his reason? She barged into his personal life by going on his laptop while he made a run to the 7/11, and she found articles online about him regarding the Natalie Holloway murder and how he had been arrested twice. The young girl wanted to leave and slapped him, which he didn't like, so he killed her. And I'm sorry, but it's been 5 years and this guy has been accused (1 he admitted to killing) of killing 2 young girls with the same scenario - beautiful, out of town college age girls. He is just sick and where the heck is this kids parents? It makes total sense to me as to why they are having him wear a bullet proof vest - this kid has a lot of people upset.

And these two - yeah I know it's not evening news worthy, but I'm a celebrity gossip addict, so I can't help myself. Do you guys think they are really separating? To me, I think its all a publicity stunt. The fact that she went and filed legal separation papers tells me they know people weren't buying their "breaking up" story, so they had to take the next step. I think they will push things pretty far just to stay in the lime light. AND she's due to release a new TV show about how she's "single". Sounds like a separation/possible divorce is pretty good publicity to me.

Now onto the meat and potato's of this blog - ME :) Yesterday I was exhausted. I came home with the full intent of going to the gym with Nick. That.did.not.happen! We were both so tired, and this pregnancy thing really wears you out. We had been going to bed pretty late the past couple of nights, so I listened to my body and just lounged and got into bed at an early time. Oh so remember how yesterdays blog I was tell you all how I sleep so soundly? Well Nick told me this morning he notices I snore way more than I used to. Which makes sense, cause I think I've started sleeping with my mouth open. Funny all the little things pregnancy changes about your normal day and night routines. I'm gonna post some pics tomorrow or tonight to show you all my progress so far on the belly :) It's not much, just looks like I could use a few ab workouts and could lay off the Budweiser :)

I have actually done very well lately and haven't wasted my money, but US Weekly is a creditable source in my opinion :) Plus I love Ruby, and I wanna see what is in her past, hahahaha!

Life update and such

Hello beautiful, lovely readers. I do apologize for the lack of blogs these past 2 days. I have been quite the busy girl.

On Monday, I started my new job as a receptionist (what else would I be? ;) ). Today was day 2, and I am having a hard time getting used to the schedule and finding time to blog. I used to have a good 45 minutes to catch up on blogs and blog myself, but by the time I get home from the gym in the morning, I only have MAYBE 10 minutes before I gotta go to work. Not only that, my gym time has been cut down to 30 minutes TOPS before I have to head back home to get ready for work. I start 30 minutes before I was at the last job, which isn't bad, but it still throws a wrench in my morning.

Next week I start my REAL work shift which I actually prefer. Right now I'm working from 8-5, and next week, it'll start my 7-4 schedule. That means I won't be able to go to the gym in the AM's, sadly. BUT, Nick has agreed to go to the gym with me after work, this makes things much better cause we will get to spend time together while sweating our hiney's off. I know some of you are thinking 7 AM is waaaay too early to start work (let alone, the time Im gonna have to wake up to get ready), but I'd much rather get off at 4 :)

In other news, holy guacamole (with chips please), my 10K is 11 friggin days away! Since I have had little time at the gym, all I have been doing is running since it is coming up so quickly. So I'm going to have to switch my workouts up so it incorporates more running than strength training, just until the 10K. However, I'm going to try leaving a tad bit earlier tomorrow morning for the gym, and see if I can squeeze in an hour again (30 cardio/30 strength training). Wish me luck!!

Stick around - I promise I'll be blogging more like I was, once I find a schedule that works for me :) But for now, I'm exhausted and am out like Ricky Martin (and p.s.- did he really think we didn't know he was gay?!)

RIP Tai Frasier

So I'm going to start this blog on more of a serious topic: I am seriously so bummed about Brittany Murphy dying this morning. Here is a brief snip from wikipedia

"...Murphy was rushed to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after suffering a full cardiac arrest and pronounced dead. Reports of her death were confirmed by the Los Angeles County Coroner's office and a spokesperson at the hospital."

Now I do agree with what people are saying, that it probably was drugs and the word on the street was that she had a problem with anorexia, but non the less, she was still a bouncy happy little thing (coulda been the result of the pills now that I think about it). Hollywood has lost an amazing actress. They are saying that her husband is opposing the autopsy which my sister and I both agree that he probably knows she was on some sort(s) of drug(s) and he just doesn't want people to remember her like that. N on the other hand is from the school of "if you can't do the time, don't do the crime". Crime equaling drugs of course. I do agree with him, but still- sad, sad, sad! Her mother, Sharon, was the one who found her too which I can't even begin to imagine finding your child unconscious on the floor.

Now shifting gears here: Working out- I have not worked out once this whole weekend. Yesterday was a day full of walking around, but nothing that I would call a workout. So I sorta feel like a slob today. N and I went to din din with Bestie Bon Bon and her hubby last night at Benihana's and it was so good that I hardly left a thing on my plate- NOT GOOD. The restaurant was kind enough to take my picture as N and I were leaving last night




Sike! That's not me, but in my mind, that's what I felt like. Tomorrow its back to the gym for some mayja working out. I'm feeling an upper body day/run 3 miles sorta day, and maybe follow it up with their addicting vanilla raspberry whey protein shakes. If I could have permanent IV with that stuff in it, I would. You think I'm joking but I'm not- it's that good. Also something else thats just as delicious as a raspberry vanilla whey protein shake, is that I won't be starting my new job till after the 1st! I get to soak up the long workouts and just relaxing till after the holidays!!!

Worked it out good at the gym today. Kicked it on the tready and ran for 2.5 miles & pumped those muscles. Maybe you didn't know but I am all about the weights. On top of training for my first most women who use steroid's competition, I aspire to look like this one day:

OMGSH, are you as excited as I am about New Moon?! AHHHHHHHHHH. NOT! I'm sorry ladies, I just don't get it. My very good friend Bon Bon, is obsessed with all things Twilight. The books, the movies, the characters. N and I rented the movie, and I'm sorry, the acting was horrible. The story was good and all, just not a fan. I think its something about this chick, Kristen Stewart. There is something that bugs me about her. She whines waaaaaaaaaay too much about being a celebrity and she just seems like she is always depressed. Get over it Kristen! We get it- life is sooooooo rough
