Weekend recap - cause everyone's doing it

I thought it'd only be right to post a little somethin somethin on this fine (I use that term loosely) Monday.
What is it about Mondays? I have never met anyone who LOVES Mondays, and whenever someone at work is: tired, slurs their words, trips on the carpet (I have actually witnessed this), doesn't feel good, it's always "It's Monday".

I actually had a not too shabby start to the weekend that ended AMAZINGLY- Friday night after work, Nick and I snuck Taco Bell into my purse and headed to Robin Hood like everyone else in the world. Nick was expecting Gladiator Russell Crowe, and he was a TAD disappointed in that, since what he got was Robin Hood Russell Crowe (hello captain obvious haha). Great movie altogether and we'd both rate it a firm 7.5 or 8. Great movie for the boys (violence, and fighting and Russell Crowe) and for the ladies (Russell Crowe...need I say more?)

Saturday started off with a nice 4.89 mile run with my parents hunting dog, Maggie. Since Nick doesn't like me running alone, I enlisted the beast that is a German Short hair Pointer hehe

After a run and cleaning up and re-fueling with my go to egg white sammich (3 egg whites, English muffin from Trader Joes, and some spinach leaves), I headed to my parentals and laid out with some Maui Babe tanning lotion. Thank you West Sac Honey for recommending that little gem, I could tell I was darker than I woulda been had I just gone bare. Wrapped up that day with some pizza with the fam :)

Sunday takes the money people - fast forward to 4:15pm...Nick walks in the front door holding......

He bought me flowers! I flower plant to be exact :) Not only that but he says "We're going on a date tonight too...dinner and a movie". HE'S THE BESTEST BESTEST,:) We went and saw Date Night and holy crap, that movie is hilarious! Steve Carrell just doesn't disappoint and there's even some Marky Mark in there ;) We finished off with ooey gooey Mexican, and was put to bed a happy woman :)

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend and now it's back to makin the green jelly beans!

Welcome to thunder dome b*%$@

Please tell me that you have seen the movie, Waiting? If you haven't seen it, immediately stop what your doing and the plans you have for tonight, and rent it. If you've never seen it, you won't get the title to this post, he he. The point of me bossing people I don't know around? To tell you how I am going to see one of the stars of Waiting tonight!!!! That's right, Dane Cook is coming to Sac town and I couldn't be happier!! I am so excited for N and I. It was a total spur of the moment thing that I decided to buy us tickets. We had plans to go out to din din with Bestie Bon Bon and her hubby and little baby, but Bon Bon's baby got an ear infection yesterday, so she texted me to cancel. I was about to do the obvious thing and state how sad I was on my Facebook status (since every one cares and all) about my situation, when I saw that one of my friend's status was bragging how excited she was about going to see Dane Cook tomorrow night at Arco Arena. I didn't even know my ex husband was going to be in town?!?! Did he not think to call or even think to invite N and I?! I immediately went to ticketmaster, fully ready to wallow in my self pity about the tickets being sold, when what do I see? TICKETS AVAILABLE!!! I was so happy that I didn't even think twice if N would be mad that I just dropped $230 on a whim, and I whipped out my visa and did a couple click a roo's and no sooner had I clicked confirm order, had my e tickets been sent to my email ready for printing! I texted N to test the waters with "Hey, guess where we're going tomorrow night? TO SEE DANE COOK!!!!" (Subtle Karli, verrrry subtle). I was trying to distract myself until he texted back "LOL, I was actually wanting to go to that. We are so on the same page babe" (On the side note: we really ARE on the same page about every crazy thing. Some people call it bizarre, we call is love). You can imagine my relief reading it that he wasn't mad or just plain out didn't want to go. N and I watched his comedy tour on Comedy Central one night and were seriously on the floor cracking up. He is so interactive with his crowd too, which takes me to another great key factor: Our tickets!! I've been to Arco Arena a few times (Sacramento King's games, concerts, maybe the American Idol tour *cough cough*) and these seats are amazing. They are lower level which means, we are going to be able to see him perfectly. Not just a blurry version either. We will be able to make out facial hair people. Plus with my handy dandy camera, I can zoom up with pics. Don't worry, I will post them tomorrow :) I am going to say it now, that if he comes out in the audience and I just am one of those lucky, er crazy, fans who reaches out and pulls on him when he is trying to get up and down those stairs, I will be bragging about it for at least a month!
I hope your Saturdays are going great bloggie world :)

O and for you who haven't seen my ex husband, Mr. Dane Cook- here is he:

Interview and picy pic's

Happy Monday everyone!! I hope your weekend was fabulous!! My little Bunny Boo was dropped off at 5th grade today and we got to walk her to her class and all!! It was bringing back hella good memories being back at my old elemtary school :D Oh they were the best years of my life! 5th grade was by far my favorite!! I had the best time with Bestie since we were 4 years old and the field trips were awesome! So after we dropped her off, my sister and I went to pick up our driving manuals to take our California test to get our licenses back! Oh I can't wait cause I think the CA licenses are prettier than the NC one's. So I have to study up and hopefully I can take the test and get my car registered either this week or by next Monday....we shall see. So when I got back, I had a message on the answering machine and guess who it was from?! Another hiring agency and they wanna meet with me on Thursday to interview for a couple receptionist jobs they have avilable!!! The lady who I spoke to sounded promising :D So I am excited about that.

Oh and N and I have a date night on Thursday!!! I am so excited!! I am taking him to that Afghan restrauant I told you guys about that I went to last week. It's also a hooka bar, so we are gonna do a hooka while we are there. I am happy cause N and I need a date night just the 2 of us. Maybe have a glass of wine or 2 as well :D

So here are the pics of us driving across country like I promised :) I am at the coffee house so I have mucho internet connection to post them all

PS: You guys would be so proud. I am doing great with my workouts!!! I plan on working out this afternoon on the tready (treadmill) and then visiting Ms. Jill!
