Inspiration

'Ello loves!

So first things first - Happy Friday! I hope y'all have something fun planned for this Summer weekend. As of late, on Nicks days off, we lay out in the sun on Troys naps and soak in rays. This weekend? Probably not happening considering its supposed to be a high of 75 today AND tomorrow. Gorgeous weather, just not "minimal clothes if any" weather.

As you all know, I'm a huge fitness buff. In fact, I got my certification in personal training (just check out that seal on the sidebar on the right, BOO YA!). So I love working out. I honestly am that obnoxious girl that if you get me talking about workouts, I will take over that conversation about working out and what you should be eating, etc. The "What to Eat" knowledge, Im decent in, but not an expert. Anyways, so I follow a few girls on Instagram (follow me at ktaylor84) who are the bomb dot com when it comes to motivating and inspiring me. One of them being Laura, from Laura Must Lose Weight

This chick is no joke. She weighed about 200 lbs before she decided to change her life completely around. Her diet is cleaner than clean and girlfriend knows her shiz when it comes to supplements. Not only did she lose weight, but she has muscles and definition, which is so much more attractive in my opinion than just being skinny. She has some great information for anyone who wants to know what she eats, how she trains, why she decided to lose the weight, and more.

I don't know about y'all, but I get pushed to give it my all, lift harder, run faster, when I have these girls to look up to. Especially when they have such amazing before and after pictures. Sorta like, if they can do it,I can do it.

Fridays Letters

Dear complete stranger woman at the gym: No, I don't want to go paddle boarding with you this weekend. I love your intensity and kindness at 4AM, but in no way am I going to a giant lake where you cannot see the bottom with a complete stranger. No.way.Jose'! Also, from other behavior I've seen at the gym from you, Im pretty sure I am NOT your kinda girl, if ya catch my drift.

Dear Youtube: Did you really freeze frame my Show and Tell Vlog to THIS?!

Dear Mother Nature: While some see you as too hot these next few days...

I plan on soaking you up. With THIS little gem for the next few days while some other little gem naps - bring it!

Dear Gretchen DeRossi: You have totally done a 180 on me - you used to be my least favorite on RHOOC, and now look at you? But if you keep looking flawless, Im going to show up at your door step at 6AM every morning, and insist you do my makeup and hair. EVER. SINGLE. DAY!
Image from HERE
Dear Emily Maynard aka The Bachelorette: I have seen your face this season. While I think you were absolutely gorgeous and down to Earth in your season with Brad, your face is painfully frozen. Stop with the injections and bring back your affordable fashion choices so this 1 income woman can copy it. No more of these shirts that cost $300. Kthanks.

Dear Readers: THANK YOU for watching and commenting on my Show and Tell Vlog. I love y'all to pieces (all 169 of you!) and it seriously makes my day when I get comments - true story.

Dear Husband: Please get your hands on some magic healing fairy dust, and get that knee contusion healed. I need you strong and healthy in the bedroom - 50 Shades of Grey, anyone?

Show and Tell Vlog

1. I say "uh", "um" and "and" WAAAAAY too much. Thats how us California girls roll, right?
2. I was talking really fast - another California girl flaw I guess.

This was fun :)

Fridays Letters

Dear Thor's little brother: Miley? Really? Look, I loved "The Climb" too, but is she that good that you wanna put a ring on it? You've heard her talk? MMMk....

picture from here

Guy at the Gym this morning: How dare you get on MY treadmill and hog MY industrial size fan. Your obviously new around these parts.

Dear Biotin: please hurry up your magical powers and make my hair grow like this

Dear Hair: I like what you've been doing lately. Your letting me have fun with curling you and not flattening after 2 hours.

Dear Troy Maximus: you are getting more and more fun (and active) every day. The things you do to make your dad and I laugh... I swear kid, you can thank me for that center of attention desire.

Dear Target: Im walking in there to get 2 things - body wash and socks for the hubs. PLEASE don't hyptonize me with those clearance racks & conscious, don't whisper to me, "Well today IS payday and all....".

Momma Bear

Can we just get real here for a second? Lets talk Momma Bear instincts. Yes, I am THAT mom who is a momma bear to the fullest. When it comes to my precious T Rex monster of a son, I believe he should be tough. He is a boy, and call me old fashioned, but I think its ok and *gasp* actually good for him to fall down, scrape his knee from time to time, get dirty, climb on things, etc. I do NOT baby him in terms of life experiences that will be a valuable lesson to him. Of course, if he is gonna grab a hot item, Im not going to say "Go ahead, burn yourself kid". Y'all get the picture tho. This even comes down to playing with other kids - he needs to learn to share his toys, communicate with other kids, interact and observe, be exposed to colds to build that immune system, etc.

With that being said, I will have you know that you will see the Momma Bear mode come out when a child (for the most part older), jacks a toy from my kid just because they want it, or don't want him playing with. Same goes with if I see a kid hitting Troy, kicking him, whatev. I have sort of gotten used to immediately getting after the kid, in a proper and respectful way of course, and then making sure the parent addresses the issue. Something like "Hey, Rebecca, can you give Troy back that toy and you guys can share?" So see, not too pushy or anything.

Well, I have heard some people tell me they would prefer the kids work it out themselves, or let the other parent handle it and would NEVER confront someone else's kid. Personally, I don't see an issue if the parent themselves aren't jumping on the issue faster than I am.

So I ask you other Momma Bears (or Future Momma Bears)....What would you do?

OO La La

Hey sweet readers!

So here are the pictures I promised. There were many more taken, but wouldn't think it'd be quite appropriate to share since their classified as "For Nicks eyes only". If anyone in the Sacramento or all the way up in Camino area needs their pictures taken, I HIGHLY suggest His Grace Photography.
