Where Have I Been?

Srrrrsly girls, living under a rock is where I've been. Why didn't anyone tell me how amazingly delicious this beverage is? Here I am, spending all my grocery money on Starbucks crack (aka Black Tea Lemonade w/1 splenda, hold the syrup), when I could have headed to my local grocery store and gotten these bad boys:

Sweet Leaf Tea

98 cents is what I spent and it tastes pretty identical to my Sbucks order. I pay about $3.95 for a venti size of BTL. If you like the Black Tea Lemonade at Sbucks, I HIGHLY recommend doing your wallet a favor, and switching to these. Plus, its all organic (That never really matters to me, but it sounds nice). Anywhoot, had to share!

* I was not paid or given free products to speak my mind :-P *

It's Friday, Friday

Happy Friday ladies!

Where have I been? Chelsea Kane couldn't be any more adorable. I've been singing this song since Tuesday, so I hope you all have fun singing it in your heads all day. I am a wee bit jealous of her hair, I'd love to be brave enough to chop mine like hers

Da Dum Dum Dum

No background story needed on these two. All I can say, is I LOVE these two. They looked so beautiful together and I would LOVE to know:
1.) What was she thinking walking down the aisle?
2. ) What was William whispering to her while they were coming down the aisle after being announced man and wife?
3. ) What the heck was Harry saying to William? Every time the camera showed him it seemed he was laughing and making a joke

People were saying they wished they had kissed longer and they were disappointed with the kiss. Were you? I thought it was very nice. I was wishing it lasted a smidge longer, but I was happy

TGI Thursday, what what?!

Well I am sticking to my word - I've worked out 3 times so far this week and remember how I wanted to workout at least 4? Woot woot!! For the past 3 days I've ran 2 miles, yesterday I did some upper body workouts, and today I did some ab work.

Can I just confess to ya'll that running 2 miles is kicking my hiney? Srrrrsly girls, it's pretty sad when I'm huffing and puffing away on Tread like I just smoked a pack of Marlboro Reds in the parking lot. At least I'm doin it tho, right? Right! My eating has been okay. Although yesterday girls, I have to confess, I was attacked. Yes, ATTACKED. By a cupcake craving. It was strong and before I knew it, I was ordering 2 (yes 2) cupcakes.

To my defense, one was for the Nickmesiter, and one was for moi. I only got a pic of Nicks due to my ferocious appetite. Poor thing didn't stand a chance.

So besides that, I've been superb - my delish salads for lunch, apples and strawberries for snacks, my egg white/spinach & 100 cal orowheat bread for bfast. It must be the warm weather that has finally graced us, but I'm loving fresh fruits at the moment.

I wish I could get the memo to my roots, that it's warm weather time which means, it's not okay to have roots. I apologize for the nast that is my hair.

I'm getting it fixed May 11th, I promise. I am thinking some pale platinum highlights all over for summer and Mexico. Holy Moses, speaking of which, it's almost time for Mexico. 15 days!! I'm ready...I think...as long as there are no more taunting by some cupcakes

Wordless Wednesday - Love

Before you were conceived I wanted you. Before you were born I loved you. Before you were here an hour I would die for you.
This is the miracle of love. - Maureen Hawkins

Yeeeeea Buddy

2.21 miles logged this morning. My legs felt like lead! I'm guessing it's the stress that comes with trying to buy a foreclosure. This darn house better come through for us.

I ain't got much meat and potatoes for ya'll since not much is new around the California Dreamin' household. So lets catch up with the normal people in life: Celebrities.
Kristen Cavallari and her long time boyfriend (long time = 8 months!) Jay Cutler (used to play for my Broncos. He's a cry baby. He plays for the Bears and is doing pretty good. Whatev) are engaged. At first I thought they made an odd pair, but now I kinda dig em'. I loathed Kristen when she was on Laguna Beach and The Hills. Now, I like her. The girl is gorgeous in my opinion. If you like that super petite, perfect body, blonde hair sorta deal. And obviously, Mr. Cutler does

Ryan Philippe has thrown out the idea that he is going to quit acting. Oh really Mr. Ex Witherspoon? Cause your in such high demand and the pressures of Hollywood are getting to you? How many breakthrough movies have YOU been in since Cruel Intentions? Which btw, you were only in that movie cause you filled out a wife beater quite nicely. Pu-leeeeeease. Your gorgeous kid, but that's all you got goin for you..oh and you made cute kids with Reese, who lets not forget, you cheated on with your average looking costar. How.Dare.YOU!

The Royal Wedding is 3 days away. It honestly intrigues me. You gotta think how much Kate is having to absorb right now. All those royal advisers teaching her what it takes to be a princess. It's all so "old" to me. As in history. The traditions they have to be filling her in on, have got to date back to the beginning. I'm just jealous she gets to roam the halls of Windsor or some other castle she fancies. I will have my DVR set to record every second of this wedding.

Digging Deep

Yeah, that's right. I am seriously lacking in the workout department.

I need to really dig deep to get any motivation to work out. I mean, the motivation is there, it's just the...ugh, who am I kidding, it's the motivation that isn't there. You'd think that bikini that's in my closet would be enough motivation, but it's not. I really need to dig deep to pull out a workout 4-5 times every week until Mexico. I'm going to make it super easy for myself - I'm not even going to schedule things on certain days. I'm just going to say "Okay Karli. Just get 4-5 workouts in. It can be any days you want.". Nick is getting his oil changed tomorrow before work, which means I gotta go early early, blah!

This underarm chub, is no bueno

My Little Gladiator

So he's not REALLY a Gladiator, but his name...Troy Maximus? TOTALLY Gladiator worthy. Right? Right! Well that little Gladiator is 3 months old (yesterday that is). Sure I can say time flies, and it is, but not really. Its not flying when its happening, but then when the 24th day of the month hits, it means another month has passed and that's when it hits me how fast it's flying. He is even catching up on RHO OC with me the other day - see how enthused he is
"Is that Gwetchen wady weeeeally suppose' to be a woman mama?"

"I am not impwessed one bit"

3 Month Happenings:
* 99% complete on holding head up - he has amazing head control and always has, yup I'm a braggin mama

* When he hears something, he turns his head in the direction it's coming from.

* Still loves to stand on his own and take a few steps. Of course while holding onto mama's fingers

* Is on straight formula - yeah I switched and stopped pumping and Troy is doing just fine

* Eats about 5 ounces every 2-3 hours. The boy eats a little less on some days, but it's usually 5 ounces.

* Still wakes up once a night to eat. He goes to bed about 6:30-7pm, and is up between 3 and 4am to eat and get a fresh dipe, then is up again at 7 to start the day.

* Is sleeping in his crib all the time now. He fussed a little bit in the beginning of it, but doesn't seem to mind it now. The swing will only be used if we're desperate and he won't stop fussing.

* Talking up a storm!

HE HAS RISEN

Mark 16:1-8
When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus' body. Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb and they asked each other, "Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?"

But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.

"Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.' "

Trembling and bewildered, the women went out and fled from the tomb. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid.

Seriously?

Lets talk gas prices. Seriously, WTF? About 3 years ago, we all may remember when gas prices were shooting up around this time of year. It actually was about $5 in some areas. At that time, Nick and I lived in Raleigh, NC and he had a truck. I drove my little 96 Toyota Corolla that I had had since HS and it was a gem at saving us money on gas. So Nick and I thought it'd be a brainy idea to trade in his truck, and get ME a new Corolla (LOVE rollin' in my CoROLLa. haha, get it?! *crickets*). So we saved money in the long run with 2 economy vehicles instead of just 1 and a gas guzzler. Fast forward to today. I paid $50.02 on filling up my tank. I paid $4.27 A GALLON!. WHAT. THE. EFF?! We have 2 economy cars so we didn't have to pay such prices. Some say its gonna be $5 by Summer. Translation - Karli will not be leaving the house EVER unless she can walk to her destination. PERIOD. Am I the only whiney baby about these prices?
PS - I found this pic when I was googling gas prices. I would take that price per gallon ASAP por favor

A Little Bit of This..A Little Bit of That...

Whats up ladies? Another weekend has come and gone. Something that's NOT gone? The rain and clouds here in Nor Cal. I mean, c'mon Mother Nature, get with it. It's Spring and don't give me the "April Showers bring May flowers" crap either!

So far this morning has been a success - got myself a heeeer appointment with ma' gurl on May 11th. Just before Mexico. Nobody wants to see a rooty blonde, so I'm being very thoughtful with this one. With laundry all ready well underway, Im planning a trip up the hill to see my mamacita and to go tanning.

My weekend was pretty good - got in a run, looked at houses and might have even have THE house. We aren't totally getting our hopes up because it's so soon in our search for a house, and also there are a lot of things that need to happen before we can get it (such as the bank accepting our offer, inspections, the whole kit and caboodle). So this house is so cute tho ladies, I die! It's an older house on 1 acre (yes please!), wrap around deck, detached 2 car garage, 3 BR, 2 BA and has been freshly painted and re carpeted. There are DEFINITELY things Nick and I would need to re-do if we got the house. Things that need to happen ASAP - remodel the kitchen and open it up, put in new windows, and gut out and re-do a bathroom that's tile is bulging out (why? We don't know - hope it's nothing serious, but the inspector will tell us the 411). Anyways, the price is pretty perfect for us to be able to still have moolah to do our fixings and make it our own and be comfy in it for about 8-10 years. The 1 acre is usable and perfect to kick Troy (and all the other future chitlans) out the door so they can get some energy out. I'm also envisioning where I'd put my chickens (I go through a lot of eggs people, this would save us more money) and where I'd put my veggie garden....but again, not trying to get hopes up. Our realtor said this is the kind of house where you put in an offer, and then keep looking at other houses till you hear back from the bank. So we will do just that.

Saturday, April 16, 2011

It was...

an AWESOME Saturday. The Nickmeister and I packed up T Money and met our realtor up the hill to look at houses at the bright and early hour of 9am. I know that isn't THAT early, but lately when we don't have anything planned, after I put Troy back down for his 1st nap of the morning, Nick and I lounge in bed or go back to sleep for a little bit, so that was axed due to our meet up. We didn't see anything that made us scream for joy, but we gave our realtor more of an idea of what we're looking for. We looked at 3 houses, and after 3 houses, she got a feel of what we're wanting. You know, the perfect house, some acres, with the right price :)
On the way home, my driver (aka the hubbs) dropped me off at the tanning salon so I get get some cu-lah on my fine English skin. And who do you girls think I ran into? My dad! Yes ladies, welcome to my life - my dad is a tanaholic.

But that's a different story for a different day...

After basking in artificial rays, we went home, I threw on my Nike Dri Fit capris (LOOOOOVE them!), laced up the asics, and hit the pavement. It was a GORGEOUS day here in Sac town, but once you start running (by running I mean slow jog, with 2 catching breath breaks), you start to cook! No joke, I haven't sweat that much since Paris Hilton was on trial, and we all know how that played out
No pictures after that run. I was a hot mess (literally!). After hoping in the shower, feeding the little dude (Nick was with him at home while I jogged, so please don't call CPS on my ass), I decided to take a nap of my own. I thought I'd get 30 minutes at the most. NOPE!! 1 hour people! 60 GLORIOUS minutes with my eyes closed and curled up on the couch with the windows open and a nice warm Spring breeze blowing in. Looking at houses screwed Troy's nap schedule up, so he was down for about 2.5 hours with this nap. Unheard of, but no complaints from mommy. I can see why he needed to nap that long, I am totally on his side. When I don't get my naps, it's not pretty. After my nap, Troy woke up about 30 minutes later and it was play time, bath time, bottle time, and bed time for him. Daddy Warbucks went and got us some grub at Buffalo Wild Wings and we parked it on the couch to catch up with our DVR. Pretty nice weekend so far if you ask moi. Hope you all are kicking back and enjoying YOUR weekend. My peeps on the East Coast - be safe, I heard about your crazy storms back there right now, YIKES!

Another 4.34 miles DOWN!

{Please ignore the heinous roots, I am getting that taken care of before Mexico - poor husband comes home to a wife who isn't a REAL blonde - THE HORROR!!!!}

That post preggo body can suck it!! I am on fiya when it comes to running these days ladies. Confession - haven't been to the gym allllll week. BUT, I have ran on average 4 miles a day (except Tuesday cause it was raining..or was that Wednesday? Can't remember - mommy brain). I break it up - roughly 1.5 miles in the AM with the hubbinator, and then I do roughly 3 miles on my own later on in the afternoon. The days I haven't run with Nick, I run in 2 sessions on my own, about 2-2.5 miles at a time. It's not easy, but it's gonna be worth it, right? Right!

Hope your Thursday is going just as fabulously as mine. It's almost Friday, Woot Woot!! I am ready for my special someone to be home longer than a few hours. Oh and this weekend is gonna be GORGEOUS, and in the 70's straight across the board? Yes please!!

...... plus we're going to go look at some houses - more on that lata!

Oh wow - HUGE Giveaway

Shasta Anne is giving away an AMAZING giveaway. It's funny she is giving away a Forever 21 gift card, because this lady has plans on going in there beginning of May to get some Post Pregnancy/Summer 2011 clothes. Seriously ladies, get your booties over there and submit some entries, you do NOT want to miss out on this giveaway. She's also giving away some serious moolah in gas cards - who couldn't use that? Have you seen the gas prices these days?!

Not much to Report

Hey ladies- not much happenin today other than catching up on some laundry, but I felt compelled to keep all you people that care (my mom, gma) about what I'm doing today.

Nick, T Money and I went on a run this morning. Nick is doing superb, and Troy loves the sound of his voice as the wind blows in his face :) Seriously ladies - he hoots and hollers as we run, he was a born runner, er, a born jogging stroller sitter. We managed to shave a whole minute off our our time, so proud!

Today I'm hitting the pavement with little dude for another 2.5 miles. Gonna be GORGEOUS here in Sacramento. I'll try to take some pics of Troy in his comfy deluxe jogging stroller to share.

ZOOOOOM

Running with the mister is going well. Well, as good as any day numero uno can be. We ran 1.64 miles (according to RunKeeper app) and I am super impressed for a guy who hasn't run a day since June 2006. My man despises running. Who can blame him, it's not for everyone and even sometimes I curse running under my breath. Call me crazy, but I need more than 1.64 miles in my day. So I will be adding my own run later tomorrow afternoon that's at least 2.5 miles. Don't need to remind you all of my upcoming Mexico getaway coming up. Not only that, but it's gonna be Summer before I know it and will look much better in my bikini with less jiggle. My goal is to be where I was pre-pregnancy by my bday (Sept 27th). I got out of the shower this morning after the run and checked myself out in the mirror. Don't lie ladies, we all do it. We flex different ab muscles or turn certain ways to examine (or pick at ourselves) and see how the ol' body is looking. I am not too upset with how I'm looking and I personally think I'm close to how I was pre pregnancy. I turned to Nick and the convo went like this:
Me: "Baby, please give me your HONEST opinion. How do I look?"
Nick: "You look really good. You just had a baby 2.5 months ago!"
Me: "But how do I look as a woman. Not just as a woman who just gave birth?"
Nick: "Baby, you look great and way better than most girls"
Me: "Do you think I'm close to where I was pre pregnancy? Cause I think I am" <-- Honestly, what smart man would answer "No"?
Nick: "Very close"

*Siiiiiigh* So I'm close, but if I can be back to where I was pre pregnancy and have my running endurance totally back by then, I'll be thrilled. Like I've mentioned before, I got a half marathon to run by fall, so having my stamina back is gonna take some work.

Other than the run in the morning, T money and I went to my mom and dad's house to see mi madre (HI MAMACITA!!). It was such a gorgeous day, so we ventured out for a walk in the country and it was really nice like always. We even made friends with a few pigs down the road. You won't get that in the city.

Crib Time

There comes a time in every young mans life where you have to get out of the swing and into the crib. Which means, mama is prepared for a few tantrums pretty much this whole week. So basically the story is this - Troy is getting longer, which means his legs reach the end of the swing, so we want to get him used to sleeping in his crib before that happens. Not only is he growing out of it, but we will be going to Mexico with no swing, and just his (AMAZING) pack n play. The Pack N Play is the Rolls Royce of Pack N Plays in my opinion - it vibrates, makes music, has a mobile above it, has a little nigh light, basically anything a 2.5 month old would want, right? We've tried him in the PNP a few times, but he only seems to doze for about 30 minutes at the most. Maybe this is because we've only tried it at Grandma and Pa-g's house and their house is so cool, he doesn't want to sleep? Either way, he's gotta learn to sleep in different places other than his swing.
So my plan is to slowly start him in his crib. I'm going to have him sleep in there for his 1st nap of the day which is always a given that he will take. So, knowing I wont have to fight him on taking the actual nap, just the location, is much easier. I will then start to add all his naps for the crib and then someday, he'll be sleeping in there come nighttime too. Honestly, I'm just scared crapless about putting him in there all night. I have really enjoyed my sleep in the nighttime that he has given me. He's a champ at sleeping *knock on wood* at night, and I don't wanna screw that up. But..he may be fine and I'm freaking out over the "what ifs". He is in his crib as I type and I'm pretty confident he's dozing away. I mean, who wouldn't want to hang out in that GORGEOUS crib? Not only is is pretty sweet, but he has tons of cool things to look at. You know, the things I HAD to have at my shower

Of course they don't show the tantrum this little angel was probably throwing before he would nap perfectly

So ladies, I'll be doing Operation SLEEP IN YOUR DAMN CRIB all week...pray for me. Also happening this week? Nickmeister is going to start running with me!! He got a new schedule at work, so he'll be here for longer in the mornings. So we are running around the block with the ol' jogging stroller. I'm excited. Nick? Not so much. He hasn't run since the Marines and he's always hated to run. Which is why whenever I ran on the trails, he'd ride his bike next to me (also so he could attack any perv's hiding in bushes). He gets that running is a good form of cardio and since he's got the weight lifting down to a T (seriously ladies, the boy has got muscles), its time for me to get Drill Instructor on his ass and show him how we hit the pavement :) Not really, I'll be nice...for the first few times.

Get up and Shake your Ass - Country style

I'm in a pretty darn good morning today - I did NOT go to the gym this morning. And since I'm being honest, I didn't go yesterday either. So only Monday has happened. Honestly girls, I AM motivated. I DO want to go to the gym. My passion for working out hasn't gone away...it's just soooooo hard to get up at 4:30AM when I was just up at 2:30AM feeding Troy. Every morning I have to try and pry my eyes open. I told Nick he has to not let me sleep in anymore. So I'm setting the real alarm clock tonight for 4:30 instead of my phone. Then I'll go to the gym Friday and Saturday which will make up for my slacking on Tuesday and today. Although, I have plans of going and seeing my Bestie Jenni today and then I want to come back home and break in the jogging stroller for a mile or two. Just cause I love her, aren't we a crazy pair?

Wish me luck! Maybe this song will get me up and running

Happy Wednesday ladies!!

It's Days Like Today...

That make me sooooo happy. I just woke up from a FABULOUS 1.5 hour nap. I put the little dude down at 2 and it's now 4pm here in Cali. Oh and another great part? He's STILL asleep!! This is RARE people. I don't think I've woken up on my own and actually have felt rested in a very long time. Even when I was pregnant I was waking up at the demands of my bladder. I have noticed that when I go to the gym early in the morning before everyone wakes up, a nap is a MUST. AND caffeine. It makes it possible for me to get myself out of bed the next morning and do it again, ha! Just sayin - today is a GREAT day!

Switching gears

Good morning ladies! It's Monday which means a brand new week. Another fab-ulous tid bit worth mentioning? The sun is shining and it's supposed to be 77 degrees today - A YO! Today my mamacita and I are heading to pick up a stroller to take with us to Mexico for Mr. T. Pretty sweet deals can be found on craigslist, check it out sometime if you haven't already.
This weekend was awesome like I knew it'd be - Nickmesiter and I took a walk or two with the little dude, I hit up Costco with mi madre, and yesterday I got...a SUNBURN! I may be the only crazy person alive that is joyous about a sunburn, but to me, its great. It means the sun is out and Im soaking it up. My fine English skin just couldn't take the heat yesterday, so this is how it repays me

This was just sitting outside in 70 degree weather. Can you imagine what would have happened had I not exposed my delicate white skin to anything before Mexico?! GEESH, Jose Cuervo would be my BFF the whole trip if ya know what I mean. After my ruby red arm heals, I'll be sliding into a tanning bed till it's go time. Im SOOO excited.
Speaking of Mexico, I know ya'll are sick of hearing of my workouts, buuut, it's my blog, so get used to it haha. I've dropped my original workout plan that I had previously. I was browsing bodybuilding.com, and came across a section where they will give you a step by step workout tailored to what your wanting to do (lose weight or build muscle). Yes, I am wanting to lose weight, BUT, I'd rather build muscle. My #1 goal right now is to tone/lose inches, so thats what I went with. After plugging in all my information, it spit out a 12 week schedule that Jamie Eason designed. You might be saying, Jamie Who? So let me show you Jamie Eason and you tell me if you wouldn't wanna look like her...

She's a fitness model and bodybuilding.com spokeswoman, and she knows her shizz. 'Nough said

So my workouts will be looking like this:
Monday - Warm up on Tread 20 minutes & Legs
Tuesday - Warm up on Tread 20 minutes and Push
Wednesday - Run for 45 minutes-1 hour
Thursday - Warm up on Tread for 20 minutes and Pull
Friday - Warm up on Tread for 20 minutes, Shoulders/Back/Abs and X Bike (30 minute class)
Saturday - Rest
Sunday - Rest

Splitting up your workouts in Pull, Push, and Leg exercises is a fast and effective way to get your results. I have blogged about it before (maybe a year ago?) and it has proven to do me good. The quick explanation for you new readers (hello and I love you!!) is push = all exercises are geared towards you "push" muscles, Pull= all exercises are geared towards your pull muscles and legs = duh, your legs! With pull and push, you are combining a bunch of different muscles and not just doing the typical workout schedule: Monday- biceps Tuesdays - abs Wednesdays - etc, etc. etc. You get the idea. This is a 12 week program, but with only 6 weeks till Mexico, Im confident I'll have some serious results to show for it.
Also, I have to confess something to you girl.... I am NOT running a marathon this year...EEEK! I know, I know, I was all amped for it, but honestly, I was scared shitless. I mean, I just had a baby, and after healing for 6 weeks, and then I gotta get my endurance back, it was just too much. Actually my aunt and sister were totally fine with it (the ones I was going to run with), and they were the reason I was going to do it this year. Do I want to run a marathon? Sure. One day, probably next year. But I just think it'd be too much to do this year, and fitting training in with Troy being so young, so my goal this year is to run a marathon sometime after my birthday (September, but before November. So sometime in October would be fabulous since the weather wouldn't be too shabby. So I will start training for that sometime after Mexico. Whew, so glad I got that off of my sunburned chest, haha!

What's Happenin This Weekend

Well first off, it's gonna be GORGEOUS for the new few days - mid to low 70's and today's high? 81 people!! The N-mesiter and little dude are planning a nice walk this evening before dinner. The windows are open and we're soaking it up. We had literally 2 weeks of crappy rain, blah! But now? Hello Spring weather!
Yesterday mi madre and I hit up the most amazing store that sells anything from family size packs of maple syrup to fresh seafood on the weekends...I am talking about Costco of course!

Seriously, you go in there for just a couple things and you walk into a MAYJA' booby trap trickery! You don't even need that 20 pack of staplers, but for $23.99, there is just no beating it! I've been eyeing their swimsuits for a couple of weeks now, and since Mexico is comin up, I gotta get me somethin to wear. So I finally settled on the many swimsuits I'll collect for Mexico/Summer 2011.

Cute, right? The top is reversible, but my mom can't understand why someone would want "BILLABONG" on their boob.

It's fabulous marketing, mom, DUH! Those Billabong peeps know their shizz. So this is hanging in my closet (even tho it should be on the fridge) and it's giving me motivation to turn down "The Big Carl" over at Carls Jr. and deciding on the grilled chicken salad instead. Which happened today thank you very much. Today I wanted to head over to the office (aka, the gym) and pump out an XBike class, a few miles on Tread and some weights. But my back had other plans. My sciatic nerve is acting up once again so I'm resting it so I can be in tip top shape for the gym next week. Karli isn't messin around anymore, so Im gettin my arse in gear with workouts and this back mumbo jumbo just doesn't jive with moi.
This weekend, I'm planning on HOPEFULLY getting a workout in, but definitely walks if I can't. Then I plan on hitting up the tanning beds for the first time of the 2011 season. Go ahead and judge me all you want and tell me how I'm going to lay in a cancer coffin, but I just won't listen :-). I need SOME sort of exposure before Mexico or else I will be burnt crispy...not a good look. Some color will boost my self confidence too and Nick HATES when I use the self tanner, so Im going with plan B (thanks to my dad for buying me a nice little package at the tanning salon).
Other than that, it's relaxing all the way for moi and our fam bam. Have a FABULOUS weekend ladies & I hope it's sunny in your part of the world!

Fabulous Friday 's

I'm linking up with Laura over at Between the Lines for Fabulous Fridays. The thing I'm finding fabulous this Friday? The fact that I'll be able to make this class every Friday morning thanks to the hubbinator being home.

XBIKE BABY!!!!!!!!
