Friday Fav's

Happy Friday/Weekend's Eve ladies!

I hope y'all had a great 4th of July. Pretty low key for our household - we putzzed around our house and I took a cat nap until about 1ish and then we headed down the road to my parents house for some pool fun. Absolutely no pictures - I know, major fail. To suffice, how about a little bit of this guy on his quad

The picture below is hilarious - he was still clueless that you put your feet on the feet rests, so he was lifting them up over the handle bars. Flexible little booger isn't he?

So let's get to Friday Fav's shall we?!

First off, lets start with Stella & Dot - ya know, that amazing company The Bargain Blonde, Lindsay reps....its my FAVORITE accessory line EVER. This week I took the plunge and am now a legit Stylist for THE Stella & Dot and couldn't be happier with my decision *a blog dedicated to this choice coming soon!* I cannot pick a favorite piece, and was first introduced to it on the The Bachelor whenever that freakishly perfect Emily Maynard wore it when she was dating Brad.

She just can't stay away from this stuff. Giving credit, where credit is due - Lindsay was an added factor in me deciding to take the jump with this great company. So, Im taking a page out of her book, and if any of you ladies are looking for funky fun jewelry or jewelry that will never go out of style, check out your favorite stylist site, MOI! Im telling you, that wish list is going to grow fast!

Another Favorite this week - THIS preview for the Real Housewives of OC reunion.

I cannot tell y'all how many times I've hit rewind to watch Andy's face in slo mo again and again. I have a feeling, I am going to have to empty my bladder completely before I see the whole thing when it airs, because I cannot stop laughing. Seriously, am I the only one? Please tell me this is cracking you up as much as me. His true fufu comes out with the reaction.

My dad is another favorite this week! So my dad who NEVER shops unless it's dude stuff or it's Christmas time, decided he wasn't going to use this little sweet thang and gifted his daughter with it. I just don't understand how people can NOT use a Target gift card? I tried (ONCE!) to decline, but he insisted, and girlfraaaands, you aint gotta tell me more than once when it comes to spending free cash at Tar-jay. This may or may not be spent today.

My favorite song that gets my donkey booty shaking?

Happy Friday ladies!

Face Lift

Hello beautifuls!!

As you can see, mama got herself a bloggy face lift! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!! I am still in the process of writing in my "About Me" sections and all the other headers sections. I'll get on that ASAP! Becca over at Jumping Jax Design did it and I highly recommend her. She was so friendly and easy to work with and as you can see, creates amazing blogs!

Today the little dude and I met up with my bestie Jenni and her two little girls, and we walked across the street to the outlets. Hide your wallets ladies, you can get amazing deals there. Baby Gap was having a semi annual sale and I got some basic shorts for Mexico and of course a sun hat, and a shirt for him to wear for Winter/Fall 2011.

As you can see, it's accurate. Seriously people - lock em' up. I got a handsome little devil on my hands

I also scored some cute shorts at Carters.

I may or may not have popped into Claires for my own little retail therapy. Sure Claires has super cheap stuff, but I can get some great stuff there and for some of my things, it lasts awhile. I couldn't pass up on this bracelet.

I'm most def gonna wear it on a date night with a certain hottie who I get the pleasure of sharing a bed with.

Today has been another gorgeous day in Sac town although I looked at the weather report and saw THIS

Ummm, hello? Not okay! I've been doing great with my workouts/walks. I've been level 2ing it up with Jillian and The Shred and walking in the afternoons (about 2 miles). This will put a cramp in that with rain. The Shred will be the only activity I get. Speaking of exercise, I was reading about how exercising and breastfeeding (which I consider myself doing since that is what Troy gets, just through a bottle) can make your supply drop. Not good. Yesterday I actually noticed I wasn't producing all that much, so I loaded up on fluids like you wouldn't believe and that included some Mothers Milk Tea. Today I seem to be back up to pumping 2 bottles in 1 sitting (about 9 ounces) and Im wondering it dropped because A) Nick's mom and fiancee were in town and I didn't pump as much as I normally do or B), Im not taking in enough calories/fluids. In order to keep my supply up, I usually pump every hour and a half. Since I am at home all day, it's no biggy and I can produce enough boob juice for the little dude. Speaking of boob juice/breastfeeding/pumping - I heard a rumor that breastfeeding burns 20 calories for every ounce you express. I have NO idea if that's true or not, but mama like!! The only issue is I have to keep some weight on and keep liquids and calories coming in because like I mentioned, it can deplete your supply. No bueno.

And since I forgot to post my 5 week pp belly pic - here ya go. This was taken this morning before I shredded it up!

Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday ladies!! It's a gorgeous one in Cal-i-for-ni-A!

The loot

After my lovely (and I use that term loosly) 3 mile run on the tready at the gym, and a hurt so good lifting session, I was famished. I was starving for some reason! Not just a stomach growl, but a feeling dizzy starving. So what did I do? The natural thing any woman would do- go to Starbucks! I ordered myself a tall extra hot non fat skinny mocha hold the whip. I have no problem having my protein in the form of a delicious hot beverage. Thanks to darling N for a darling gift card to Sbucks.

So I most def hit the jackpot at Pier 1. When my family decided they were going to do an ornament exchange instead of getting everyone a present, I immediately headed to Pier 1. They have the cutest and most prettiest ornaments ever! I knew they were having a crazy sale so I was very excited knowing that whatever I walked out with, I was going to get a great deal on it. I walked out with the most AMAZING canvas painting, 2 pillows for my new couch, and 2 adorable ornaments. The painting was originally $130, the ornaments were originally $9 and $4, the pillows were normally $25 each, and how much did my trip cost? $60 and some change! You cannot beat this people. The painting will be going right over my new couch and I can't tell you how in love I am with it. I kept thinking about it sitting in my car while I did my other shopping. *side note: I did have to text N to make sure it was a-okay to buy the painting. I convinced him this was a NEED and NOT a want-take notes ladies*

OOO mama loves

The cushy comfy pillows to go on our beautiful new couches

The cutsie ornaments that I won't use or really see till next Christmas :(
